If moving home is likely to take place over two or more days, pack yourself an overnight bag – or as we like to call it a ‘camping bag’. This is after all a similar experience, going without the everyday luxuries for a night or two and only living with the essentials.
The camping bag checklist:
- Toiletries (toothbrush, hairbrush, soap)
- Towel
- Toilet paper
- Food (dinner and breakfast unless you prefer to eat out)
- Pyjamas for the night
- An outfit for the next day (don’t forget underwear)
- Prescriptive medication
- Important electronics and their chargers (phones, laptops, tablets)
- Important documents (passports)
- Wallet
